Maybank sasar menjual RM120juta saham ASB

KOTA KINABALU 20 April - Malayan Banking Bhd.

PNB Melabur Dalam Hartanah Luar Negara

image KOTA BHARU 10 April - Langkah Permodalan Nasional Bhd.

- BERNAMA

Amanah Hartanah Bumiputera Beri 3.25% Pulangan!

image KUALA LUMPUR 10 April - Pelaburan Hartanah Bhd.

Can I use ASB for Home Loan Application?

Yes you can.

To apply for your home loan, for employed persons, you must furnish 3 months of salary slip and also proof of tax submission. However, to strengthen your case, you can also photocopy your ASB book as proof of your financial worthiness.

Best to photocopy at least 3 years of ASB transactions to them to show proof you didn’t just deposit RM200,000 in the last minute.

A large savings in ASB just provides proof to the bank that you are stable and have financial backing in case you lose your job or anything else.

Good luck and happy purchasing your new home.

Jumlah Maksima Pelaburan Amanah Saham Bumiputera

ASB or Public Mutual?

This is the question I always hear from friends and family. Here are a few points for your info.

ASB

1. Consistent returns of between 7% to 8% per annum.
2. Guaranteed by the government of Malaysia
3. Limited up to RM200,000 deposit
4. Limited to Bumiputera only
5. Can withdraw anytime at Pos Malaysia, Maybank, CIMB, RHB and PNB offices
6. Harus for Muslim investors

Public Mutual

1. Returns can go up to 30% per annum
2. Can also make a loss out of investment
3. Not guaranteed by government but backed by a stable bank ie Public Bank
4. Amount not limited
5. Open to everyone
6. Can withdraw at any Public Bank
7. Can choose Halal trust

Personally, I would have a combination of ASB and Public Mutual investments.

Dividend 7.65 sen for ASB 2011

image

KUALA LUMPUR: Amanah Saham Bumiputra (ASB) unitholders will receive a dividend of 7.65 sen per unit for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2011 compared with 7.5 sen last year.

The 7.3 million unitholders, who currently hold over 95.9 billion ASB units, will also receive a bonus of 1.15 sen.

Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) chairman Tan Sri Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid said the income distribution portion involved a total payout of RM7.04bil and the bonus portion RM628.29mil.

Up to last Thursday, he said, the scheme registered a gross income of RM7.19bil.

“Dividend income from investee companies contributed RM4.09bil, or 56.9%, of the gross income and profit from the sale of shares contributed RM2.25bil or 31.3%,” he told a media briefing here yesterday.

He said the remaining 11.8%, or RM0.85bil, was derived from investment in short-term instruments and other investments.

Ahmad Sarji said the income distribution and bonus would be automatically credited into the respective unitholder's account and unitholders could update their accounts beginning Jan 3 next year.

“All transactions for ASB will be suspended beginning Dec 21, 2011 until Jan 2, 2012 to facilitate the calculation of income distribution and bonus,” he said.

He said the ASB's performance during the year was satisfactory even in the last quarter of this year, with the stock market performance influenced by the US economic uncertainty and Europe's debt crisis.

Meanwhile, its president/chief executive officer Tan Sri Hamad Kama Piah Che Othman said PNB would make sure it would continue to not only pay dividend every year but also to create growth for the future.

On the takeover of SP Setia Bhd, he said PNB was still awaiting approval from the Securities Commission (SC).

“We have submitted it to the SC and are now waiting for its approval,” he said.

On the progress of the Menara Warisan project, he said: “PNB has submitted the design order to the authorities and we will announce it when we get approval.” - Bernama

6.35 sen dividend for ASW 2020

KUALA LUMPUR: Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), today announced an income distribution of 6.35 sen per unit for Amanah Saham Wawasan 2020 (ASW 2020) for the financial year ending Aug 31, 2010.

PNB chairman Tun Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid said the income distribution will involve a total payout of RM777.53 million, up 32.30 per cent, compared with the previous year's total payment of RM587.70 million.

He said 892,825 unitholders, who currently hold 13.1 billion ASW 2020 units, will benefit from the payout.

For the 11 months between Sept 6, 2009 and Aug 6, 2010, the fund received a total of 20,226 new account holders, while net investments received during the year increased by 2.09 billion or 18.98 per cent, he told a media conference.

As of Aug 6, ASW 2020 recorded a gross income of RM887.05 million, profit from the sale of shares contributed RM454.57 million or 51.20 per cent, dividend income from investee companies totalled RM290.99 million or 32.80 per cent and RM141.49 million or 16 per cent is derived from investment in short-term instruments and other income, he said.

Ahmad Sarji said the income distribution calculation this year will be based on the average monthly minimum balance held throughout the financial year from Sept 1, 2009 until Aug 31, 2010.

The income distribution will be reinvested in the form of new units and will automatically be credited into the unitholders' account on Sept 1, he said.

All ASW 2020 transactions will be suspended from Aug 25 to Aug 31 to facilitate the income distribution calculation.

Unitholders will be able to update their accounts at ASNB head office; ASNB branch offices; or ASNB agents from Sept 1.

Investors who participated in ASW 2020 through the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Members Investment Scheme will have their income distribution credited directly into their EPF accounts.

ASW 2020 unitholders will receive their income distribution statements together with the fund's annual report beginning mid-October.

ASW 2020 is an all-Malaysian fixed price equity fund. Fifty-one per cent of its shares are for Bumiputeras while 49 per cent for non-Bumiputeras aged six months and above. - BERNAMA

More Goodies from Amanah Saham

Where do they get all this money from? Azmi

ASB ANNOUNCED 7.00 SEN PER UNIT OF INCOME DISTRIBUTION AND BONUS OF 1.75 SEN PER UNIT

KUALA LUMPUR – Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB) , a wholly-owned subsidiary of Permodalan Nasional Berhad has announced an income distribution of 7.00 sen per unit and a bonus of 1.75 sen per unit for Skim Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) for the financial year ended December 31 st, 2008 .

The income distribution portion will involve a total payout of RM4.22 billion, almost equal to the allocation made for ASB income distribution in 2007.

The bonus portion will involve a total payout of RM678.03 million by PNB .

PNB Chairman, Tun Dato' Seri Ahmad Sarji said, the payment will benefit 6.56 million unit holders which currently hold 62 billion units of ASB.

Tun Ahmad Sarji said 2008 is a challenging year for the ASB fund manager as evidenced by the equity market which saw a drop of 40.85 percent in the benchmark KLSE CI during the year following the credit and financial crisis in the developed nations.

Notwithstanding the above scenario, the discipline and prudence practiced by the ASB fund manager has helped to produce an encouraging performance of the fund.

Up to December 10 th, 2008 , ASB has recorded a gross income of RM5.14 billion. Dividend income from investee companies contributed RM3.12 billion or 60.71 percent of the gross income, and profit from the sale of shares contributed RM1.58 billion or 30.75 percent. The rest of the income at 8.54 percent or RM439 million is derived from investments in short term instruments and other investments.

The calculation of the income distribution is based on the average monthly minimum balance held throughout the financial year of ASB ending December 31 st, 2008 . The calculation of the bonus on the other hand is based on the average monthly minimum balance held by the unit holders in the past ten years, starting from 1999 up to 2008.

The income distribution and bonus will be automatically credited into the respective unit holders' accounts. Unit holders will be able to update their accounts beginning January 2 nd, 2009 .

All transactions for ASB at ASNB head office, ASNB branch offices and agents will be suspended on December 19 th, 2008 until January 1 st, 2009 , to facilitate the calculation of income distribution and bonus.

ASB is a fixed price equity income fund, opened for Bumiputera aged 12 years and above. This fund is aimed at generating long term, consistent and competitive returns to the unit holders whilst ensuring the preservation of capital at minimal risk tolerance level.

Latest News Dec 2008 : PNB Will Not Invest Overseas

PNB Will Not Invest Overseas... Good!

KUALA LUMPUR 22 Dis. - Permodalan Nasional Bhd.
